Counselling Placements within WLWA

At West Lothian Women's Aid, we recognise the importance of developing skilled, compassionate counsellors and are pleased to offer a small number of student placement opportunities each year.

❋ REQUIREMENTS

As a specialist service supporting women, children and young people affected by domestic abuse, placements are available only to students studying at Master's level or above (MSc, MA, PhD or equivalent) in counselling, psychotherapy or counselling psychology.

❋ Expertise

We welcome applications from students who are passionate about trauma-informed practice and supporting survivors of gender-based violence. All placements are subject to availability and appropriate safeguarding requirements.
